Clare, Rini and Kirsten
This is so awesome! Thanks to Phil Blankenship, New Beverly Midnights, New Beverly Cinema and Ain't It Cool News (who I LOVE and read every day), we will be celebrating Bring It On's 10th anniversary at the New Beverly Cinema (co-owned by Quentin Tarantino).
This movie means so much to me. Aside from the fun and experience of making it, not to mention the thrill of being in a blockbuster movie, what happened next affected my entire life in such unbelievable ways - BECAUSE of Bring It On I met one of my best friends, actress Bianca Kajlich who later introduced me to my loving husband, Brian.
This movie will forever mean the world to me in ways I will never be able to explain. Thanks for making this happen guys.
Hope to see you all on Saturday for the Q & A and the screening!

Love Bring It On!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm proud to admit that I can do the entire "Brrr...Toros/Clovers" bit.
ReplyDeleteI loved this movie and you definitely played a role in my loving this movie.
WOW, it's been ten years already, I remember watching it for the first time in my teens. My home town's cinema usually puts on a free movie for the kids/teens on our national holiday, one year they picked Bring it On as the movie to air! :D
ReplyDeleteI loved Courtney. "It's not about cheating; it's about winning." Even though she was on the wrong moral side of the argument who could resist Courtney's passion and enthusiasm. I would have rather seen Clare playing the sweet Kirsten Dunst character that we've seen Clare play in some of her other films, but maybe next time....
